Laura McCall, soprano, is a frequently featured soloist in the Syracuse, NY area. Last season she performed with the Auburn Chamber Orchestra and MasterWorks Chorale of CNY.
Most recently, Laura has presented recitals featuring Scandinavian composers including Sibelius, Frumerie, and Stenhammar. Laura is excited to be performing Sibelius’ Luonnotar in Spring 2020.
Past performances include Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s missa brevis in F, Mozart’s Vesperae Solennes de confessore, Gretel in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, Second Lady from The Magic Flute, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, and soprano soloist in the Central New York debut of Dan Forrest’s Lux: The Dawn from on High performed with The MasterWorks Chorale of CNY in March 2019.
Laura is a student of Dr. Kathleen Roland-Silverstein’s and is working towards a masters degree in vocal pedagogy at Syracuse University. She holds a masters of music degree in vocal performance from Ithaca College and bachelors in vocal performance from Roberts Wesleyan College.
